My husband and I got very sick at Batumi and we were lucky to find this center. Dr Leila is awesome. She is super nice. She lesson to us carefully and fallow up everyday with us. Her nurse was very helpful and take care of as a her family. We strongly recommend them.
On the second day of my stay in Georgia, I came down with a stomach bug. I called in the morning, and on the same day, I visited a doctor. They promptly administered and, conducted a blood test, provided recommendations, and prescribed medication. Most importantly, all the insurance documents were prepared in English. The clinic is not the most budget-friendly, with prices in line with typical Western European standards, but the level of service and quality is worth it. It's worth noting that preparing English documents takes a few days, so that should be considered when submitting documents to the insurance company.
We came to Batumi from Germany about a year ago. Since neither of us speaks Georgian or Russian well enough, AMC was the best choice. We were welcomed very nicely by the receptionist and Dr. Leila gave detailed advice. The appointments were the next day and if they were outside, we were accompanied. So everything was very comfortable! A day later we had a conversation with Dr. Leila, a detailed final discussion. It reminded us the days -years ago- when we still had a real family doctor. It was always a very friendly atmosphere and never time pressure. (Not to forget , small sweets were always offered as well as coffee). Thank you Dr. Leila and the team !
In the first week of October this year, I experienced excruciating pelvic pain while being a tourist in Georgia. Unsure of where to go and faced with a language barrier, I found positive reviews about the American Medical Center in Batumi online. Around 7:30 am, we arrived to find the clinic closed, but the housekeeper, the sole person there, helped us. She contacted Dr. Leila, who graciously agreed to see me before official opening hours. Dr. Leila provided thorough outpatient treatment, accompanying my partner to the pharmacy to ensure I got the necessary medications. The experience felt like being cared for by a family doctor in a family clinic. The AMC staff were not only professional and friendly but also assisted with my insurance claims even after the service. A heartfelt thank you to AMC!
We have moved here permanently and given the language barrier, we were worried about medical emergencies and even just routine appointments. AMD provides that link for people like us and tourists alike. Dr. Leila is a friendly and professional family physician and together with her team she does take care of not only routine appointments, she also organises appointments to see specialists and is available even in emergency situations (they will even organise an ambulance and come with you)! They speak perfect English, their office was clean and they even offered coffee and treats. I believe fully, that if something SHOULD happen, I am in good hands. Thanks!
