In her previous roles as Senior Consultant, Head of Oculoplastic Department and Clinical Director of the General Eye Clinic at Singapore National Eye Centre as well as Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Dr Looi has made major contributions to the advancement of General and Oculoplastic care in Singapore, both in clinical practice and in training the next generation of ophthalmic surgeons. Moving to Ava Eye Clinic, Dr Audrey Looi brings with her over 20 years of high volume clinical experience in managing general as well as subspecialised eye conditions. Her special areas of interest are in Cataract Surgery and Oculoplastic Surgery where she has performed over 7000 cataract surgeries and over 4000 oculoplastic procedures including eyelid, lacrimal, socket and orbital surgeries. At Ava Eye Clinic, Dr Looi will pioneer a new approach towards complete rejuvenation of the eyes. This will see her patients benefiting from restored vision and the highest possible chance of spectacle freedom after cataract surgery, and allow them the opportunity to rejuvenate and revitalize the eyelid area. 5.0Dear Dr Looi, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional care in treating my droopy eyelids (ptosis). The results have been life-changing. Not only has my appearance significantly improved, but the chronic headaches I had been experiencing have completely resolved!! 😭😭 I am a case of a double eyelid with ptosis, and we discussed achieving a natural crease while correcting the droopy eyelid. 5.0I'm extremely thankful to Dr Audrey Looi for giving me the confidence I've never had in taking frontal photo of my face due to the ptosis condition I had. The ptosis condition impacted my self-confidence, but Dr Looi helped restore that for me. Dr Looi's confidence in the bilateral ptosis repair really put me at ease before, during and after the surgery. I felt that I was in good hands (literally) during the surgery. The review sessions after the surgery were also thorough and not rushed. I love how my eyes look after the surgery and would like to leave a review to thank Dr Looi and her team for looking after me.

I am now 3 months post op, with new eyelids Dr Looi has given me. I no longer have droopy eyelids that were bothering me for the longest time. 5.0Overall excellent experience 🤎 I had to remove a growth in the medial canthal area and the clinic was very accommodating from the time I called to the last appointment. Doctor Audrey listens & gives space for good decision making, has superb dexterity and is very gentle with the wound. The outcome of the surgery was perfect and scarring should be minimal. Thankfully, the pathology results were good. Devi and Brenda proficiently manage the clinic's operations (eye tests, prescriptions, billing, etc) and ensure the shortest waiting time possible. Lean thinking and excellent communication demonstrated 👍🏾👍🏾
