Datin Dr. Shanny Hu Shan has worked and trained in the United Kingdom over 22 years. She was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in Reproductive Medicine and IVF at Bourn Hall Cambridge Clinic, one of the UK's top referral centre, which was founded in 1980 by IVF pioneers Mr. Patrick Steptoe and Professor Robert Edwards. They were responsible for the conception of Louise Brown, the world's first IVF or test-tube baby in 1978. She has been recruited from the United Kingdom under the Malaysian Talent Corp Returning Experts Programme in 2013. The fertility services include tests and treatment for infertility, in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), artificial insemination (AI), etc.

5.0I have been seeing Datin Dr. Hu Shan for the past 7 years. She has always been my favourite doctor. She has treated my PCOS, which has been a problem for me for a very long time. Dr. Hu Shan is very knowledgeable and takes her time with every patient. Thank you for being an exceptional doctor and a friend!!
5.0Probably the only Doctor that specialize in Endometriosis in Malaysia! My friend suffered (from period pain) for more than 10 years, seen numerous “famous” Gynae and being prescribed with just pain killers or hormone jabs. Datin operated on my friend and after 4 hours long surgery, 6 tubs of fibroids were removed and Datin assured my friend that she would finally be able to live a normal pain free life!!! As promised, 3 months post surgery my friend is now one happy and pain free woman! Beside this review, I also wrote to Sin Chew (Chinese daily) as I believe that we need more platforms to help educate Malaysian woman that extreme period pain is not normal and can be cured! If anyone reading this review has been suffering from bad period pain, go look for Datin Dr Shanny Hu asap!
5.0I found out that I have a 7.7cm dermoid cyst in my uterus and I’m grateful for Dr Shanny for helping me throughout this period of time. She arranged for the surgery the next day right after consultation and the surgery was a success too. Since then, my weekly follow ups with Dr Shanny has been really reassuring, she has given clear instructions on how I can heal my wounds sooner, safe to say I’m in good hands. The nurses there are also really gentle with changing my dressing.

I highlighted my concerns and she answered all of my questions as well as presented me with options thoroughly. The clinic nurse is also well mannered and easy to communicate with. Dr Shanny’s nurse Kolhi is so efficient that I managed to meet with Dr Shanny on the same day despite her tight schedule. 5.0My relative had her surgery done with Datin. From her first consultation to post surgery, she is relieved and happy. No pain on the open wound and amazingly she recovered fast. And I'm surprised no stitches needed to remove despite many fibroids being removed, with the largest 14cm. I believe Datin is a noble doctor and it's highly recommended for any of you who have problems in the uterus to look for her.
