From the moment I met Dra Gloria Carretero at her consulting clinic in Marbella, I felt confident I had found the perfect eye surgeon to perform my lens replacement operations. She kindly explained all the options available to me, her advice was so informative that I booked my surgery for the following week. I cannot praise her more highly, everything went to plan in the Quiron hospital under Dra Carretero, my painless surgery and her reassuring care were exceptional ! 2 weeks later I returned for my remaining eye operation, again I had first class treatment and now I am delighted to report I have the vision of a teenager once more, and that is quite something for a very grateful 77 year old lady !! I had lost 90% of my sight in my right eye. I visited Dra Carretero at her clinic in Marbella and she conducted a full examination and diagnosis. Following a thorough discussion on the options available we arranged corrective surgery. We met the day before surgery and she explained the procedure. The surgery was superb and involved no discomfort at all. The after care was excellent. My sight is now fantastic. thank you so much. David Cronin

Dr Carretero has just operated on both my eyes to remove cataracts and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Today I have 100% sight. I was guided through the procedure with both professionalism and care and this removed any stress that I might have been feeling before both operations. Dra. Carretero and her team made my entire eye surgery (Cataracts both eyes) process comfortable, professional and very personalized. From the clinic through to the hospital and follow-up went extremely well. She explains everything along the way very clearly. I should have done the surgery much earlier now knowing how smooth it would be.
