If I could give our experience 10 stars I would! My 90 year old grandma had very advanced cataracts in one eye. Dr. Chan offered her an appointment the very next day and made time to do such a careful check and appropriate tests. He explained the procedure carefully and so patiently to us so we would understand the whole process. My grandma’s surgery was scheduled for only a few days later and he completed the procedure within 10 mins. And she reported there was no pain at all! She is now post op day 3 and her vision is fantastic and there is still no pain and she said this has been life changing for her. I work as a physician in Canada and I am so impressed with the level of care my grandma received. Dr. Chan, our family cannot thank you enough for your kindness and amazing skill as a surgeon. We are so grateful !

Last year when I was searching for an “eye doctor” for my 2 kids, my mom reminded me that my brother’s friend is now the resident consultant ophthalmologist in ISEC. Without a thought, I messaged him if I can bring my kids to see him, and he quickly arranged for his staff to make appointment for my kids. Since then, our designated family eye doctor is, Dr Chan Jan Bond. So, when my mom said last month that she wanted to get her eyes checked because her vision has become blurry, I brought her to ISEC to see Dr Chan. It was then confirmed that she has cataract and without hesitation, she requested for only Dr Chan to perform her surgery. Dr Chan is knowledgeable and professional. He took time to explain the options available, what are the pros and cons, etc. which gave assurance to my mom and I. The surgery itself was fast and painless, and his skills was exceptional. My mom’s eyes recovery was quick and her vision is now perfectly restored. The picture below is taken a day after her 2nd eye surgery, which is a testimony itself on how good and smooth her surgery was! We highly recommend Dr Chan for cataract surgery!
