I definitely have an appreciation for Optimal Health and Wellness. I came here after developing many Long Covid symptoms and my traditional doctors offered me nothing to help. I did one of their detoxes which I really enjoyed and also was prescribed some helpful supplements. While these offered some slight relief in the moment, I am far from cured which is not at all the fault of this clinic as it’s such an unknown disease. I did find the amount of things that were prescribed to be very overwhelming and felt they weren’t prescribed with much caution. I definitely had to do some of my own research to know what risks were for what was being prescribed. I did a vitamin and laser IV which was fascinating but also a little scary for someone who’s consistently experiencing changing symptoms. If anything it made me feel worse. I was also recently prescribed and antidepressant from another doctor which is not supposed to be mixed with the IV I had. Luckily I did that research beforehand and waited to take my prescription until after. I also started taking a binder which added more fun symptoms which I wasn’t warned about. I would definitely come here again but like I mentioned, do your research and take lots of notes as it’s an overload of information.

WOW, I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since my last review of Optimal Health! I have been a long-time patient for sure and it's finally time to update my last review! Dr. Lee is a gem. A lifesaver. He has helped me figure out the most complex health issues that other doctors have struggled to figure out! Having a good doctor doesn't require them to only have the correct medical knowledge to treat you, but also the kindness and consideration in truly wanting you to be healthy and feel good. I have known Dr. Lee for over 20 years - we went to college together. Even back then he was always such a nice and caring person!!! Now as a doctor, he treats his patients with that same demeanor, armed with his expert knowledge in the naturopathic medical field. Please see him if you are struggling with any kind of symptoms like mine and can't figure out what in the world is going on, i.e. chronic fatigue syndrome, unexplainable weight gain, brain fog, chronic sinus pain and infections, chronic muscle pains, dry skin, bloating, changing skin, total body inflammation... I had it all! I have been healthy for most of my life, used to run marathons, still workout regularly and try to eat pretty balanced meals and as much organic foods as possible. However, in this modern day in age, we can't avoid the extreme amounts of toxic material that is in our air, water supply, soil, vegetables, processed foods, etc. Our kidneys and liver do a pretty good job of flushing these things out of our system, but sometimes it's not always enough. I developed lupus, started becoming sensitive to certain foods and supplements that would give me hives when I used to be able to handle them fine. I had gained 10 lbs in 3 months (for a tiny person like me who's typically 115lbs, it's a lot)! I was developing sinus infections that would always require antibiotics to go away, and I hate taking medicine. My energy levels were ZERO and I kept blaming it on my kids LOL. No doctor could figure out what was wrong with me, except for Dr. Lee! He ordered comprehensive blood tests (what's going on with your organs and body), GI tests (gut health is responsible for 80% of your immune system), and urine tests (to find toxins such as heavy metals, phthalates, etc.) and GUESS WHAT he found? I had high levels of lead, mercury, volatile organic compounds, and 3 different toxic strains of MOLD. No wonder I felt like I was dying!! Mold is everywhere, but some strains produce toxic gases. I believe that two strains I developed illnesses from a water leak at our old house that occurred under the kitchen sink. The third strain was the nasty black mold - I had been running a humidifier in my bedroom and one day found spots of black mold growing on the window sill next to it. I had been blinded to it because the window shutters were always closed.. and that side of the house gets a LOT of afternoon sun. Thank goodness I found the source and thank goodness Dr. Lee has helped me treat myself so that I can feel like myself once again. Dr. Lee was the ONLY doctor who was smart enough to help me figure this out. Other doctors will just listen to you talk about symptoms for 5 minutes and then prescribe you meds to mask your symptoms and send you home. That is NOT medical care and that is NOT treating the root to your medical problems!! I am now on a detoxification program under his protocol. I know it's working because after just 3 days of starting, I have more energy and I've lost 4 lbs! I am really so thankful that I can cry!!!! So many chronic illnesses and ailments that cause cancer have a root cause. Dr. Lee is the kind of doctor who will help you find that root cause so that your whole body can heal! He is the best. The office is beautiful! Since I live far away now, we can still do consultations online and he can order tests to be sent to your home, and meds/supplements to be delivered to your home. His staff is so incredibly friendly and competent. Optimal Health is THE BEST.

I was having headaches on a daily basis. I saw Dr. Heckes for a consultation. The relief was almost immediate after my first adjustment. I also noticed that once mine spinal alignemnt was back to normal that I was sleeping better at night. I would highly recommend Dr Heckes to friends and family looking for a chiroprator.

Dr. Lee is an incredibly knowledgeable physician that does a great job staying up to date on the latest treatments and technologies. His arsenal of health tools is vast and diverse!

I was suffering from Long Covid - shortness of breath, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, covid rash and body aches for months. Primary doctor (Western Medicine) said there was nothing to do and wait for research to catch up to what causes Long Covid. Friend of mine referred me to Dr. Lee. Three months of treatment: MultiVitamin IV, Laser Therapy, Detox and vitamin supplements and Long Covid is gone. I wake up feeling rested and energy throughout the day. I can focus on my work and family. All my symptoms have gone away plus old ankle and knee injury pain is also gone.
