I had Lasik done by Dr Maksys last week. So far my experience has been really wonderful. I looked into 3 other centers to have this surgery done but in the end sehkraft was my first choice. In the end it was the staff that stood out to me. Everyone was so kind and took time to answer all my questions. In the beginning Ms Radke gave me very thorough information - I had so many questions and she explained everything and set clear expectations. During the initial examination she explained all the tests to me and what the results meant. I also had questions about dry eye - they checked this as well and discussed it with me. On the day of surgery I was very nervous, the staff was very calming. Dr Maksys again answered so many questions and even directly scheduled a follow-up appointment with me to check on my condition after. At every step I felt cared for. A huge thank you to everyone! 3 month update: Everything went great! I can only recommend!

Big, big recommendation! Overall experience was amazing. I managed to conduct an orbita (bones around the eye) fracture a few weeks after my eye treatment resulting into surgery. At the check up appointment for the treatment, I informed the team about what had happened and they went out of their way to ensure I’m ok.

Dr. Maus and his wonderful team made me feel comfortable and safe during the entire process. From the initial appointment, to surgery day, to the post surgery check up I had no need to stress or worry. The procedure was very quick and painless. Dr. Maus calmly explained what was happening during the procedure which gave me peace of mind. My only complaint is that I wish I had done this sooner! I have perfect vision now and I am no longer held back by glasses and contacts. Nicole Radke was exceptional as well! I highly recommend this office and it’s amazing staff. You will not regret it.

I got my eyes lasered in May 2022 by Dr. Maus and I am so glad I finally did it. Over the last 6 years I was thinking about it since I have never felt comfortable with glasses and contact lenses. Everyone at Sehkraft was really friendly and created an relaxed and comfortable environment. I was even able to do the check ups in Cologne and Berlin ( I kinda lived at both places at this time). I had OrthoK-lenses before and waited 5month until we did the LASIK. I felt really safe and it was spoken openly to me about the wait time it could take and that they would not laser if there still would be a change in my dioptrien. The surgery itself was quick and easy. I was able to see right away. Only 3 hours of tearing eyes afterwards. 1month after they already don’t feel that dry anymore and I haven’t regret the decision in any way yet. Thanks to Dr. Maus and the entire Sehkraft Team

I can only highly recommend this clinic. The stuff, technical equipment and the treatment/competence of Dr. Maus are fulfilling the highest possible standards. I had a great surgery and would do it again!
