I have been a patient at the Fertility Academy since 2019 and came across Dr Gorgy by word of mouth. Thanks to him, I now have a three year old daughter and I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second. I saw multiple consultants at different clinics prior to seeing Dr Gorgy, who brushed me off with unexplained infertility and didn’t delve much deeper than the standard fertility tests. However, Dr Gorgy investigated thoroughly through different blood tests and procedures until we found the root cause, which in my case was an overactive immune system. He was therefore able to tailor my treatment accordingly, which led to my third frozen round being a success. I also found it reassuring to have such regular blood tests and scans so you feel more in control of your journey and its progress. The nurses and office are very efficient, I had to provide a few medical letters for my work, which were organised very quickly. I also ran out of medication several times so needed urgent prescriptions, which again were treated with urgency. This journey is definitely not easy and you are very lucky if it works first time around, but with perseverance and the friendly support of the nurses and team, it makes it more bearable. A big thank you to Dr Gorgy and team!
I started IVF with the Fertility Academy back in 2022 having been treated at two other well known central London clinics since 2020, with no success (including 7 egg collection rounds and 7 transfers of 11 embryos, including PGS tested). My 12th embryo transfer was at the FA and this also resulted in a successful pregnancy and our son, who is now nearly four months old. From the start, Dr Gorgy was clear about the tests and investigations that we needed to do. He focused on my immunes and identified problems and solutions. This is something that the other clinics failed to do and insisted that we just kept putting embryos in without considering the underlying reasons for failure. We also did LIT which I understand, is only offered at this clinic. The Embryology and Nursing Teams were brilliant, always clearly explained any results and provided support where needed. The Officer Manager and team were also great. I would really recommend this clinic to anyone doing IVF. The whole team is very supportive but professional and also really cares about their patients compared to other clinics that I have been treated at where I felt like just another patient on a long conveyor belt. Forever indebted and grateful to Dr Gorgy and the Team at the FA!
I saw Dr Gorgy last year in January. I had 4 miscarriages, even though i conceived easily I couldn’t carry the pregnancies. It was heartbreaking. Dr Gorgy sent me for various tests & found out about high NK cells & 2 blood clotting disorders. He guided me well. However I did not opt for the treatment at his clinic, but he was reachable when i needed him. I wish the NHS adopts this treatment line or atleast recommends it to those suffering. It is beyond heartbreaking to loose all these wanted pregnancies apart from the physical trauma which follows! I now have a baby girl & all thanks to him.
