Dr Sozos Fasouliotis received his Medical Doctorate (MD) degree with excellence from the University of Athens, School of Medicine in July 1994. Following a one-year internship in general surgery at the University of Athens, Greece, he was accepted in 1995 as a full-time resident at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel for a six-year period, attaining specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in both Israel and Greece. Dr Fasouliotis continued to work at the Hadassah University Hospital, in the In-Vitro Fertilization Unit of the OB/GYN department until 2002. Dr Fasouliotis was awarded a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, in New York, USA. Throughout his years of training, Dr Fasouliotis has been exposed to a vast amount of clinical and surgical (including advanced laparoscopic surgery) cases, both in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, and in the field of reproductive endocrinology and Infertility. Furthermore, his residency in obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as his sub-specialisation in reproductive endocrinology and infertility has provided him with the opportunity to participate and perform in many clinical and research studies. The results of which, have been presented in international and local medical conferences, as well as being published in international medical journals. Following his return to Cyprus, Dr Fasouliotis joined the Nicosia Polyclinic and subsequently the Ledra Clinic, where he co-founded the Ledra Embryogenesis IVF Centre. Since 2009, he has been working in obstetrics, gynaecology and infertility at ISIS Clinic.
