Mr Jai Seth
Biography
He co-leads the Urodynamic, Benign Prostate Enlargement, Female Urology and Neuro-Urology services at St George’s Hospital. He also supports the continence services at Epsom and Kingston Hospitals and is part of a specialised team providing cancer survivorship at the Royal Marsden Hospital for men with co-existing prostate cancer and urinary issues. Mr Seth feels that best outcomes for Lower Urinary Tract issues, stem from getting an accurate urodynamic evaluation at the outset. He has a vast experience and expertise with Bladder ‘Botulinum Toxin’ (Botox) treatments for a range of causes of Overactive Bladder, having treated over 2000 patients since 2009. Other continence treatments he specialises in, include Urethral Bulking, Colposuspension, Fascial Sling, Artificial Urinary Sphincter implant insertion and treatments for the enlarged prostate such as Rezum water vapour treatment, Bipolar TURP and the Urolift implant system.
Mr Seth has an active academic background, having received a number of awards including a prestigious research grant from The Urology Foundation, was awarded a Doctorate for his research into neuropathic bladder dysfunction from University College London, and has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications or book chapters and widely presents scientific papers at an international scale.
He enjoys taking active role in teaching and is a senior Lecturer at St George’s University London Medical School.
