My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. Great experience. Thank you Amerimed.
I was vacationing in Cancun when I developed an infection due to poison Ivy I contacted prior to my trip. I was referred to this hospital by the doctor at the airport. When I arrived, I was greeted by a nice gentleman who had me fill out paperwork and describe my issues too. I then met with a nurse minutes later and was led back to a room. Here I was evaluated and seen by Dr. Estaban Benitez DE Haro. He was one of the best doctors ever. Was easy to communicate with and had a great attitude. He checked me out and immediately go to work ordering blood work, xrays, and had an IV started. After a few short hours we were able to figure out what was wrong and get me some meds that got me on the mend and able to return home the next day. I felt very safe there and it was one of the cleanest hospitals I had been too. They do require payment up front but the price I paid was very reasonable and they assisted in getting me all the paperwork needed for my insurance company to reimburse me. I frequent Mexico and if I ever had to visit the hospital again, I would not hesitate to come back.
