Prof.Dr.Tamer Demir

Tamer Demir graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 1991, immediately after his graduation. He served as the Physician of Kayseri Sarız Central Health Center between 1991-1992. Between 1992-1993, he served as a TB War Dispensary Doctor in Antalya Kaş. After working as a Research Assistant at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Eye Hospital between 1994-1998, he received the title of Assistant Professor Doctor in 1998. He continued his duty as Assistant Professor until 2005 and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2006. Until 2012, he served as Associate Professor at the Fırat University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, and received the title of Professor Doctor in 2012. Between 2012-2017, he continued his services in the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Fırat University, with the title of Professor Doctor. He continued his service in the Department of Ophthalmology at ÇOMÜ Faculty of Medicine between 2017-2021. During this time he spent at ÇOMÜ Faculty of Medicine, he was deemed worthy of the duty of Dean of ÇOMÜ Faculty of Medicine. He served in the Department of Ophthalmology at ALKU Faculty of Medicine in 2021 and assumed the position of Head of the Department during his tenure there. It has transitioned to the private sector since 2022 and continues its services in this context.
